Are FitGen products safe?

All FitGen products are manufactured using only the highest quality ingredients according to the highest global standards at a state-of-the-art facility. The pharmaceutical manufacturer has the necessary Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certificate following a recent accreditation inspection by the South African Medicines Control Council (SAHPRA).

SAHPRA regulates and enforces pharmaceutical manufacturing which includes nutritional supplements. SAHPRA is responsible for the monitoring, evaluation, regulation, investigation, inspection, registration and control of medicines and scheduled substances.

What is FitGen doing to avoid contamination?

All FitGen sports nutrition products are safe, drug-free, stimulant-free, effective and beneficial for the growing sport athlete. We are compliant with the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) banned substances list. FitGen ensures none of our products contains anything that is on WADA’s latest banned substance list.

We have the necessary inspection protocols in place where we do batch testing for added quality control.

Are supplements WADA compliant?

While FitGen regularly tests its products for a wide variety of WADA banned substances, it is crucial to note FitGen products are not WADA ‘certified’ or ‘approved’.

WADA does not approve or certify products in the supplements industry, whether it is FitGen or any of its competitors. WADA also does not test or approve nutritional supplements.

FitGen does everything in its power to ensure our products are free of contaminants or WADA prohibited substances.

The WADA code states that athletes are ultimately responsible for any substance found in their body, regardless of how it got there (World Anti-Doping Agency).
